Producer TurnMeUpYC is On a Streak

I remember when TurnMeUpYC, a frequent producer for Moneybagg Yo, started gaining a bit of traction from producing a few tracks off of Bagg's album Time Served. And that was a year ago. Now he's on fire.

Back in January 2020, YC earned his first Billboard-charting single with "Protect Da Brand," a Moneybagg Yo and DaBaby collaboration that peaked at 89 on the Hot 100. This was the start of good things for YC, and it just kept getting better. Bagg's single "Me Vs Me" peaked at 88 on the Hot 100, and then Bagg's smash hit, "Said Sum," instantly charted at 63. A remix only boosted that number, helping the track peak at 17, giving YC his first Top 20 single.

However, that wasn't the end of the road for YC, and the Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk single "Back in Blood" has currently peaked at 40 on the Hot 100, giving YC his second Top 40 single and his fourth charting single overall. The single only looks to rise on the Hot 100, with credit being given to Shiesty's debut mixtape Shiesty Season. It seems as if YC cannot be stopped, and we'll see if this will work for him in the long run.
