Review: "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown"

I've always been a big fan of Peanuts. I love reading all the comic strips, I love watching the specials, and the movies are great, too! For this review, I'm reviewing one of the older Peanuts movies, which was released in the '70s.

Now, I know the animation isn't all that great, but it stays true to the source material, and it's fun to look at. The story is also original, and it's not bad, although most of the jokes and punchlines feel like they were ripped straight from the strips, and because I read a lot of the strips, they don't sound as original and funny as they should.

I really enjoy the slapstick and the warmth of this film. People getting snowed on outside and being walked all over is always funny, and so is a lot of the other gags. Of course, a lot of the humor in Peanuts comes from people experiencing pain, emotional or physical.

All in all, this is a pretty charming film, although it can feel a bit boring at times. I would definitely recommend this for younger kids. For older people, we'll see if you can retain your interest.

RATING: 7/10
