I see all of the slander online of this film. And I'm asking myself, "Why?" Sure, it probably doesn't live up to previous Star Wars installments, although I have only watched two episodes out of the nine films. But The Clone Wars is an action-packed film with a lighter tone and someone beautiful imagery.

First off, the character Ahsoka Tano is pretty likable. Anakin, not so much, but Obi-Wan Kenobi is fun to watch, as well. The villains are also really well-thought-out and provide for some epic Jedi vs. Sith battle scenes. The voice acting could use improvement, but it's passable.
I know people complain about the animation, but for a budget of merely $8.5 million, it's pretty impressive. The backgrounds and fights are beautifully animated, and this was the first few episodes of the series pieced together, anyways. These battle scenes are the highlights of the film, leaving audiences on the edge of their seat and providing a lot of action.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars may not be the best Star Wars film in the galaxy, but with neat animation and exhilarating battle scenes, it still is a heck of a lot of fun.
RATING: 8/10
